Why we #BDS
Inspired by the struggle of South Africans against apartheid and the solidarity of the international community in the form of boycott, divestment, and sanctions (BDS) campaigns, Palestinians have called on the world to to use BDS to pressure Israel to end its occupation and colonization of Palestinian lands, recognize the right of Palestinian citizens of Israel to full equality, and respect the right of Palestinian refugees to return home.

Amplify Palestine
In 2015, Adalah-NY launched the Amplify Palestine campaign to build support for the boycott call from PACBI (the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel). Today, Amplify Palestine brings together artists, educators, and cultural organizers to develop initiatives that amplify Palestine and grow the movement for boycott.
About Adalah-NY
Adalah-NY: Campaign for the Boycott of Israel is a NYC-based, volunteer-only group that advocates for justice, equality, and human rights for the Palestinian people through educational activities and campaign-building. Established in 2006, Adalah-NY organizes in support of the 2005 call by Palestinian civil society groups to use boycotts, divestment, and sanctions (BDS) to pressure Israel to recognize the Palestinian people's inalienable right to self-determination and fully comply with the precepts of international law.
Adalah-NY commits to a principled stand against all forms of racism and other oppression, and we recognize that in the US, we are deeply enmeshed in a society shaped by settler colonialism and slavery, so we must be active and deliberate in upholding these principles. We aspire to integrate into our work the aims and principles of the Vision for Black Lives and support the building of a world without white supremacy and all the institutions that reinforce it.
